Home to the NASA Ames Research Center and the California Air National Guard, the Moffett Federal Airfield (NUQ) is a joint civilian-military airport bordering the cities of Mountain View and Sunnyvale, California. Walk through the Moffett Field Historical Society Museum to learn more about the history of Moffett Airfield and its contributions to national security and technology advancements. The museum displays interesting exhibits, photographs, and artifacts from past decades, including lunar rocks, the space shuttle, and older space suits.

What are some of the displays at the Moffett Federal Airfield?
The Moffett Field historical society displays artifacts which illustrate the rich history and heritage of Moffett AirField. These include Pioneer and other satellite models, Mercury Redstone capsule, Lunar glove box, Wind tunnel blade, SOFIA wind tunnel model, Pioneer 12 model and Mars globe and Martian rovers photo cutouts.
