Two American Hockey League teams, the Colorado Eagles and the San Jose Barracuda, meet in a regular-season ice hockey matchup at Tech CU Arena in San Jose. The venue is a modern, multi-purpose arena opened in 2022 that serves as the Barracuda’s home rink for AHL games. The contest underscores the Bay Area’s role in hosting high-level minor-league hockey and the ongoing development of professional hockey in Northern California.
